WHY

This story was the result of a discussion among my writers group (now seemingly defunct). We were discussing the nature of horror fiction, and I came to think I could see certain tropes or patterns in the form. I wrote this story to try and employ those tropes.

There's very little I can say about this one without spoilers. I think this was the first story I had illustrated by Jose Baetas. His depiction of the 'sentry drone' was remarkably on the button, pretty much exactly what I had in my head.
